Kristen Stanton, Founder
Kristen is the founder and CEO of UniGuide. As a lifelong animal and nature lover, she started UniGuide to educate herself and to help others discover alternative ways of thinking and consuming that would have a less harmful impact on human health, animals, and the environment.
In addition to her work on UniGuide, Kristen is an independent marketing consultant. A former client is Niantic, Inc., the developer of the mobile augmented reality games Pokémon GO, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, and Ingress. Another is Clean Economy, an early stage company founded by her brother Patrick that installs electric vehicle charging stations.
Before striking out on her own, Kristen was a full-time marketing and business development executive in the tech industry, working for companies including the car buying site Edmunds.com and Picarro, Inc., a provider of scientific instruments and software solutions that measure greenhouse gas concentrations, trace gases, and stable isotopes for a broad array of scientific applications. An avid supporter of innovation in clean technologies, Kristen also served as the marketing and grants chair for the Cleantech Open, a nonprofit accelerator for cleantech startups.
When working on UniGuide, Kristen usually has one of her cats, Isa or Uti, on her lap. When not working on UniGuide, she’s out and about with her dog pal, Roo.
