Edward R. Carr is the professor and director of International Development, Community, and Environment at Clark University. For over 20 years, he has worked on climate change issues, including solutions and their implementation. In his current role, he is a panel member on the Climate Change Adaptation on the Scientific and Technical Advisory Panel of the Global Environment Facility. He is also the lead author for Working Group II of the current IPCC Assessment Report. In addition, he has held climate change-related positions at USAID (including policy advisor to an Obama appointee) and he has served as an author for the Millennium Ecosystem Assessment and the Fourth Global Environment Outlook.
