UniGuide participates in both affiliate and advertising programs, whereby I may earn fees or commissions if you decide to take certain actions on UniGuide, such as clicking on a text or banner advertisement, or clicking images or text links for products and services, and then purchasing a product or service when it links to Amazon or another UniGuide affiliate partner. Advertisements and affiliate links may appear within the content of posts, in the sidebars of pages, in UniGuide’s product catalog, and other places on UniGuide.

UniGuide is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. Amazon, the Amazon logo, AmazonSupply, and the AmazonSupply logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.

UniGuide is also a participant in a few other affiliate programs and in the Google AdSense and other, independent ad network programs. If you would like to advertise on UniGuide, please click here.

While I do my best to only present products and services on UniGuide that I would personally recommend to friends or family and use myself, I do not always have control over the content of the advertisements or the conduct of the third parties whose advertising content is being served by advertising and affiliate partners. Taking actions, such as clicking and buying products, is entirely up to you.

No advertiser or affiliate partner will ever control the content, topics, or posts that are presented on UniGuide. In addition to writing about products and services for which I may earn a commission or fee, I will also write about products and services for which I do not get any commissions or fees. The opinions expressed about products and services on UniGuide are entirely my own or those of guest bloggers who may contribute content to UniGuide from time to time.

Except for the content in banner advertisements served by third party ad networks, such as Google AdSense, of which I do not have control, I do my best to promote products or services on UniGuide that are Earth-friendly, animal-friendly, and healthy for people. By Earth-friendly I mean products and services that are made, distributed, and disposed of without depleting or damaging the Earth’s natural resources; and by animal-friendly, I mean products and services that do not use or harm animals in their creation, production, distribution, and use. Products that are healthy for people include those that help the mind, body, and spirit to thrive.

I will be the first to tell you that I am not on expert on sustainability, human health, or animal welfare. While I strive to learn more about these topics every single day, I know there are many steps in the life cycle of products – from design, to testing, manufacturing, distribution, and disposal – that can have a negative impact on people, animals, and the planet. Ideally, every step in the process of product creation and disposal should be environmentally sustainable and free of human and animal suffering. It’s a tall order in our modern world, but it’s not impossible. The collective brain power of human beings is more than capable of achieving such an ideal. It is my hope that as I present products and services on UniGuide, they will fit this ideal. If I fall short due to my ignorance, I hope that visitors to UniGuide will share some of their collective brain power and correct me, and I will certainly update content on UniGuide as I become better educated.

If you see a product or service on UniGuide that does not fit the above principles, please contact me. Likewise, if you are an entrepreneur or other representative of any products or services presented on UniGuide that you would like to present in a different way or remove from the site altogether, please contact me. The products, services, images, and original manufacturer product information on UniGuide are the property of the makers of those products and are presented on UniGuide only as a means to educate consumers and to help promote those products and services.

If you click on an ad on UniGuide and are taken to a third party website, please check that site’s privacy policy if you want to learn how your personal information is used by that site, including whether that site is tracking your behavior or clicks and whether that site is using cookies or other persistent identifiers.
